Description
The leaf comes from Lauds of the Office of the Dead. "Laudate eum omnes angeli ejus laudate eum omnes virtutes ejus" starts off Psalm 148. There are several boxed in, illuminateded letters and the text is Latin, written in Gothic script. There are fourteen lines on the recto and verso. The marginalia on the recto side has acantus and a bird pecking at the blue part of the biggest vine in both blue and yellow.
The verso has marginalia in the form of golden stripes with blue and red flowers. A stem is wrapped in the gold and red stripes with a blue background.
